Loving Lately #9

Friday link ups are one of my favorite things! Every week, I'm forced to look back on my week and reflect on the little things that made it so special. This week I have the honor of co-hosting with the Friday Favorites Link-Up. Without further ado, here are my Friday Favorites.

1. Favorite Pin

My roommate and I just happen to have our 21st birthday within one day of eachother. It's coming up at the end of November and we're planning a Gatsby themed shindig. A champagne tower like this is a must!

2. Favorite Song

My whole suite is getting excited for the soiree. I know, it's in three months but in college you have to find things to look forward to! One of my suitemates found this song and I feel instantly classier listening to it.

3. Favorite Treat

We went to the Farmer's Market last week. (You saw a picture if you follow my Instagram) I got a huge cucumber and now I can't stop drinking cucumber water. Delicious and nutritious!

4. Favorite Read

I just started "I Married Adventure" by Osa Johnson. It's the true story of Martin and Osa Johnson. Martin was a nature photographer and they traveled the world having all kinds of adventures. I hope to have a marriage like that.

5. Favorite Quote

I'm reading this one book for class called After Babel. It's by George Steiner if you ever want to give reading it a whirl. (I don't recommend this!) After 250 pages of boredom and confusion, one quote finally spoke to me. "Language is the main instrument of man's refusal to accept the world as it is." How am I using my words to change the world?

Thanks for reading, loves! Please show my lovely hosts, Dawnelle, Lish, and Kelly some love. Feel free to link up yourself!

Share the love,

Taylor
